Following the untimely death of Motorhead founder Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister this year, bandmate and drummer Mikkey Dee revealed in a tell-all interview what he thought of his friend.

In a report by Blabbermouth, Dee revealed in a special February issue of Sweden Rock Magazine the emotional moments in Lemmy's memorial service.

He recalled how the boots of Lemmy was like a trademark for the frontman, in which for him stood for everything he knew about Kilmister.

"Seeing Lemmy's empty boots up there," the Motorhead drummer said of his friend. "In the middle they'd placed some pictures and his hat, but just seeing his boots standing there. Empty. I know how much his boots meant to him. He was wearing them all the time. He didn't feel comfortable if he wasn't wearing his boots. And there they were, empty, and then it all hit me... That was really hard to look at."

He also revealed how difficult it was for his other bandmate Phil Campbell and close friend Dave Grohl, who were holding their tears during the service.

"Then, of course, it was hard listening to the speeches," he continued. "A lot of people broke down crying. Dave Grohl had a hard time [not crying]. It was almost a good thing Phil wasn't there - he probably wouldn't have be able to handle it."

Furthermore, the Motorhead member also mentioned in a Loud Wire report how he plans on potentially forming a new group or if he would rejoin King Diamond, after the group formally ended the stint of the band.

"I don't know about that," Dee revealed. "He's got Matt Thompson, who is great and has played in the band for a really long time, so that's up to King. I think it would be a lot of fun to play with KING DIAMOND again. It would be great, but I'm not going to talk my way into the band. That's something they have to decide on."
