In an article published in forbes.com, contributor Anthony DiMoro wrote that a match between John Cena and The Undertaker could headline WrestleMania 32 as the WWE is setting to break a WrestleMania attendance record.
"With WWE expecting to shatter attendance records at the enormous AT&T Stadium and the Undertaker's storied career winding down (perhaps his last match being at WrestleMania 32) WWE is looking to give Undertake an opponent with enough star power to the main event and close out the big show," he said.
"It appears that opponent will be John Cena," he added.
However, Cena suffered a significant shoulder injury that required surgery. The recovery time for the damage might take the WWE Superstar out through WrestleMania 32.
With Cena out, WWE legend and movie star The Rock is rumored to take Cena's place especially as the former announced that he would be appearing in WrestleMania 32.
Wwe.com published "5 WrestleMania 32 Moments we want for The Rock" and it included him being an opponent of The Undertaker: "Interest in The Undertaker's WrestleMania opponent remains top of mind, and there would be no bigger blockbuster foe than The Great One."
"The Attitude Era battles between The Rock and The Undertaker are forever etched in sports-entertainment lore. Should The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment compete in the ring this April, a reprisal of his rivalry with WWE's Phenom would surely rank high among WWE fans' dream matches in 2016."
Meanwhile, Superstar Sting will be officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, ibtimes.com reported.
The article stated that Sting is the first member of the 2016 Hall of Fame class. Ceremonies will be held the night before WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
Sting was a former WCW Superstar who made his first WWE appearance during the 2014 Survivor Series. Injuries, however, have sidelined the pro-wrestler. His induction into the Hall of Fame will assure him an appearance in the upcoming WrestleMania event on April 3, 2016.
