Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) legend Georges St-Pierre has reportedly been training and a possible comeback to the UFC seem possible, espn.com reported.

St-Pierre's longtime head coach Firas Zahabi said in an interview that his prized athlete still has a lot of fight in him.

"I think personally, these are not his words, there is more fight in him. I think he loves the sport and he gets excited about the idea of fighting again. I see him in practice all the time and the guy is incredible," he said.

"He's still the best. I think Georges is going to make a splash soon," Zahabi added.

When asked about a possible St-Pierre comeback, Zahadi said, "I believe his management, the UFC and Georges will come to a decision. I train fighters. I don't talk about those things. I just want to know who we're fighting, a time and place. There are so many factors at play, but those three groups will decide. Just give me a time, place and name of a guy and I'm very confident Georges will come out on top. He's that good."

Meanwhile, mmamania.com reported that the former UFC champion's ex-manager Stephane Patry gave his thoughts on a possible matchup against reigning featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

McGregor is coming off a win against Jose Aldo and is scheduled to a lightweight title fight against Rafael dos Anjos.

"Georges St. Pierre said openly that he could easily get down to 155 pounds to fight. and it is a fact that several fighters who fight at 155 pounds are bigger and walk around heavier than St-Pierre," said Patry.

"So if McGregor becomes the champion of 145 and 155 pounds, and St-Pierre takes the time to get his weight down in a healthy and intelligent way, do you not think that the UFC would not want to put on the biggest fight in its history?" he added.
