‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 5 Spoilers: It’s Regina’s Turn To Come To Terms With Her Past

(Photo : Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images) SAN DIEGO, CA: Actress Ginnifer Goodwin (L) and actor Josh Dallas attend the 'Once Upon a Time' panel during Comic-Con International 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center on July 11, 2015 in San Diego, California.

A photo published on TVLine showed the happy reunion between Regina and mother Cora but as previous spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5 hinted, things are not always what they seem in the Underworld.

"Regina reunites with her mother Cora (Barbara Hershey), who is the 'mayor' of the Underworld's topsy-turvy version of Storybrooke," the article said.

As showrunner Edward Kitsis pointed out, "We've never seen Regina and her mother cordial."

But Regina and Cora are not the only ones who will be reunited in the Underworld. There's also Rumple and father Peter Pan, Prince Charming seeing his twin brother again, Cora and Prince Henry and of course, there's Emma and Hook.

The synopsis for "Souls of the Departed" offers plenty of spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5. It reads:

"Emma, Regina, Mary Margaret, David, Robin, Henry and Gold arrive in the Underworld, on a mission to rescue Hook, only to discover that their search will be more difficult than they had anticipated. The inhabitants of the Underworld-all souls with unfinished business and many with quite personal vendettas-hound our heroes at every turn."

"Meanwhile, in an Enchanted Forest flashback, a familiar face from the Evil Queen's past returns to present Regina with the perfect birthday gift."

Among the returning characters this season are Peter Pan, Cora, Prince Henry, Sidney Glass.

Greg Germann, meanwhile, has been cast as Hades, the ruler of the Underworld.

"Hades is such a fun, endlessly creative challenge," Germann told Entertainment Weekly.

"Anything goes. The creators bring him to life on the page with the same out-of-the-box unpredictability that they bring to the rest of the show. They strike the perfect balance between keeping things grounded and letting things fly - sometimes literally."

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 will air on Sunday, Mar. 6, on ABC. There should be plenty of spoilers before then.
