This week's episode teaser promo opens with Tom in critical condition and Liz confronting Red about it.

In the promo video, Liz Keene can also be seen confronting Raymond "Red" Reddington if he has hurt Tom. It wasn't revealed yet if that was the case but the promo narration implies that the cause of Tom's situation will be a life changing event once revealed.
Red was also talking Liz out of her relationship with Tom.
"He's reckless, dangerous. He's not worthy of being your husband and he sure as hell is not worthy of raising that child," Red told Liz, as seen on the video.

Red's over-protectiveness to Liz and constant intrusion with her life is the reason for many speculations on Liz's and Red's true relationship. Red is rumored to be Liz's father, while some said that he is his stepfather and fans were anticipating this to be exposed in this season's finale, according to Melty.
Meanwhile, episode 14 left too many questions that need some answering. For instance, is Katarina Rostova still alive? Is Red telling the truth about Liz's past?
