Indeed, change is the only constant thing in this world and as well as in the "Lords of the Fallen 2" world, as most recent news has revealed that monumental changes are afoot in the upcoming game.

One of which is the game's executive producer, Tomasz Gop, who already dropped out from the development team last year.

"I will be leaving CI Games not long from now," he wrote in a Facebook post, adding that he's actively looking for a new job.

The game sequel was announced on Dec. 18, 2014, and is set to be released sooner or later in 2017, where the developer of the original game, Deck13 Interactive, will not be developing the sequel, as CI Games will solely develop the game.

The Polish developer, CI Games, then released a statement in Polish dialect, as translated by Eurogame, expressing gratitude toward Gop for his input on "Lords of the Fallen 2."

"We have different visions for further development of the series and Tomasz will not be a part of CI Games' progress," the company clarified.

However, the game's executive producer absence has prompted fans to wonder regardless of whether the "Lord of the Fallen" sequel video game will meet its 2017 release date window.

Needless to say, it doesn't seem to be a problem as the studio, according to Game Spot, shared that they were aiming to reach a more extensive crowd than the main 2014's "Lord of the Fallen" video game.

"We want to reach a wider audience for this game. That's why we're building a richer story. We're aware that these aspects could've been better in the first game, so the story is a big point of the sequel, along with the robust fighting system. We want to bring something fresh to RPG games," it added.

For those who are unfamiliar, the original "Lord of the Fallen" bring game players into an epic, baffling voyage in interconnected situations - that battling beastly, disfigure enemies and bosses.

The game allows players to control Harkyn as he is sent on a mission to stop a powerful god's strange devilish power using scuffle weapons such as hammers and tomahawks, as they attack the world to reclaim it after being dethroned.

In spite of the fact that CI Games has yet to announce a specific release date, vast majority of solid fans still hope that the "Lords of the Fallen 2" will meet its 2017 release window.
