After the split from Matthew Hitt, Dakota Johnson is the first one to admit that meeting other men proves to be more difficult than anticipated with her newfound fame.
But technology offers a certain anonymity, which allows people on dating sites to slowly reveal who they are up until the point they can trust each other.
Would the pretty 26-year-old try dating sites? Not likely.
"Oh, that freaks me out," Johnson told Fox News. "Although I've heard stories of people meeting the loves of their lives ..."
Dakota Johnson shared that finding somebody following the split from Matthew Hitt is difficult.
"I'm not the type of person that goes to a lot of parties," she said. "I cherish my solitude and I think it's important for young women, especially now, to know that it's OK to explore the world and yourself without the pressures of other people's opinions of you."
What type of men is the "Fifty Shades Darker" attracted to?
"I'm attracted to people who respect me, who are kind, who are intelligent and who can keep up with me," she added.
"For the most part, men don't approach me," Johnson shared. "I think they're afraid. But right now I'm just focused on my work so it isn't an issue for me."
Nevertheless, she's under no pressure to find a boyfriend to replace Matthew Hitt after their split last year.
"I don't need a partner to feel complete. In today's society there's less of a stigma on being single. I think society is relinquishing some of the pressures of needing to find a spouse."
Speaking of "Fifty Shades Darker," filming already began in Vancouver, Canada for the sequel to the highly successful "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"The 26-year-old actress was joined for the first day of filming by the book's author E.L. James and her new co-star Eric Johnson, who is not related to her," said Just Jared.
