Selena Gomez just couldn't keep her hands to herself as she gave former boyfriend, Justin Bieber, a congratulatory hug during the 2016 Grammys. And the Canadian singer wasn't sorry that it happened, either.

Although there were no photos of the "Hands to Myself" singer going up to the "Sorry" singer at the red carpet event, multiple reports confirmed that it did happen.

Justin Bieber won for Best Dance Track for "Where Are U Now," which was a collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo.

"Selena made sure to congratulate Justin on his big Grammy win," an alleged source told Hollywood Life.

"Even though they didn't hang out at the show, she wanted to let him know how proud she was of him. She knew how important winning a Grammy was for him and how it had always been a dream of his. When she saw him she gave him a big hug and congratulated him," the source added.

Prior to their Grammys 2016 encounter, Justin Bieber was all praises for Selena Gomez, whom he said was the inspiration for some of the tracks in his new album.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Selena Gomez made sure to congratulate her former boyfriend, knowing how he always wanted to in a Grammy award.

"I'm very happy for him. Honestly, so cool," she said. "They have such a cool energy amongst all of them to be able to create something like that. It's really great."

But despite the good vibes, Selena Gomez won't be getting back with former boyfriend Justin Bieber anytime soon.

For one, the "Sorry" singer is now dating Hailey Baldwin, and they appear to be very happy together.

In the GQ interview, for instance, the Canadian singer described the model as "someone I really love. We spend a lot of time together."

Meanwhile, Selena Gomez appears to be over Justin Bieber as well, and the "Hands to Myself" reportedly has a new boyfriend in NY-based sales executive Samuel Krost.
