Since the news of a possible comeback has surfaced online, speculations of the final release date for "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U version also started. Most of the previous reports hinted its release this year, but a few only mentioned a particular point in time since Nintendo is keeping itself mum about it.

In a report published by Christian Today, the game will be most likely released during the holidays. The report noted that by the time "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U is made available, Nintendo will also be releasing their new console, Nintendo DX.

The article also mentioned that $10 million out of $34 million of Wii U's marketing budget were allocated to advertise "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U. Though it has mentioned the game's simultaneous release with Nintendo's new console, it is still not yet clear as to whether which will be given ample air time to gain catch and create a base in the market.

In case the mentioned speculation happens, it wouldn't be a first for Nintendo simultaneously releasing two versions of one game in the market since "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" was released in 2006 for both GameCube and Wii, Game Spot reported.

Game Spot revealed that the Easter eggs present in the "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" Wii U launching earlier this week, have something to do with the upcoming Zelda Wii U game title. According to the report, multiple paintings, seen by Youtuber HMK who got to play the game in advance, were similar to the art released by Nintendo when it first announced the new Zelda game. Images showing Link riding on Epona across Hyrule field were said to be included in these paintings.

As of the moment, interested parties still lack information and confirmation for the final release date of the game, but it is expected that more of the details will be disclosed soon as Nintendo's target release date approaches.
