Mark Salling has made himself scarce lately following his arrest over child porn photos heading into the New Year and no news updates yet on the case against the "Glee" actor.
No paparazzi photos emerged of Mark Salling recently, who previously made it a point to show to the world that everything's normal as he was snapped several times going to the gym following his arrest on Dec, 29.
He immediately posted bail for $20,000 and TMZ published a photo of the 33-year-old trying to hide from photographers shortly after leaving the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
"We got a shot of Mark leaving the jail -- leaning back out of view in the passenger's seat -- after being booked on possession of child porn ... specifically porn involving minors 'engaging in or simulating sexual conduct,'" said TMZ.
The last news update on Mark Salling's arrest was when the State of California reportedly won't pursue a case against the "Glee" actor.
"The case will now likely be in the hands of federal investigators, who will decide whether and how to pursue the case," reported Crime Watch Daily.
"Possession of child pornography carries much harsher penalties at the federal level than at the state level," it added.
It wasn't the first brush of the "Glee" actor with the police as he was also sued once for sexual assault by his girlfriend.
No news update yet on what Mark Salling entered during his arraignment last month. But his arrest might have caused his career.
Director Adi Shankar has said that he's closely following the news updates on Mark Salling's arrest because the results would figure into his decision to cut him from the new film, "Gods and Secrets."
"I won't feed our growing pitchfork culture. I'm going to wait for all the facts to arrive and if in fact these allegations are true, I will immediately take action which includes removing his scenes from the project," he told E! News.
