Season 1 Episode 6 of CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" will hit the small screen on February 25. As a spin-off, the series has gained relative success as it's rated at 7.8 out of 10 in TV.com as of this writing.
Even with the limited number of episodes, it certainly has pushed itself to the limits by bringing the characters in various timelines with different repercussions.
The upcoming episode features the time travel repercussion with a personal spin. It is titled "Star City 2014" and, according to TV.com, "Waverider crashed in the year 2046...and finds Star City under siege by criminals after Vandal completes his conquest of Earth. Heat Wave revels in the destruction while Sara is shocked when she meets an old friend."
While our heroes cope with the city in ruins, they meet not one but two Green Arrows. Stephen Amell ("Green Arrow") posted a photo in his official Twitter account featuring the Legends with two Green Arrows facing each other.
Story wise, the Legends who crash landed in the future meet Oliver Queen. He is still fighting bad guys and he is taking a bigger role now that the city is in chaos. The upcoming episode will also feature another Green Arrow.
According to Cinema Blend, "just like in the comics, it will be Connor Hawke who inherits the mantle in 'Star City 2046.' The CW hadn't made a casting announcement about who would be playing Connor, but we now know its Joseph David-Jones wielding the bow and arrow."
CW also posted the trailer for the upcoming episode in their YouTube channel. Based on the trailer, Heat Wave is clearly having fun in the future and with the fire engulfed 2046, he is certainly enjoying his time here. He might even lead the pack to another action filled battle episode featuring two Green Arrows.
