After an unfortunate hiatus that stretched to a number of years and following the success of new album "Dark Before Dawn," rock band Breaking Benjamin is on a road tour across several states in the U.S.

The tour featured a series of recently concluded unplugged concerts and has transitioned to a string of electric shows that will extend until April of this year, as per loudwire.com.

In an interview with faygoluvers.net, front man Benjamin Burnley revealed that the band would be on the road for quite sometime from the start of the year until the latter part of April.

"We have a lot of touring, we're going to be on the road for a really long time," said the lead singer.

"The band now, unlike before are very amazing song writers. We're doing a lot of writing and passing ideas back forth. But the main item on the agenda right now is that we're touring our asses off," he added.

Asked about moving forward and gaining recognition, Burnley said he would like to win a Grammy but considers helping people the highest accomplishment he can achieve as a musician.

"Saving somebody's life someway or the other. Making somebody at least feel like I've saved their life. That's real! That's the stuff that's real in this life," said Burnley.

"Who cares about a plaque that you can hang on a wall, Whatever. I believe you only get one life, if you can help somebody in their's, that's better than any gold or platinum album you can hang on your wall," he added.

The Breaking Benjamin lead singer also had some advice for aspiring musicians: "Take accountability and ownership of things that you contribute/things that you do. Know your station in the band. Know what you're supposed to be responsible for. Make sure that everybody is on the same page."
