Last Saturday, the "Bad Blood" singer served as the maid of honor at her close friend Britany Maack's wedding in Pennsylvania. The 10-time Grammy Award winner looked gorgeous in her gown, but her boyfriend wasn't there to appreciate her looks.
Taylor Swift attended the wedding on her own while Calvin Harris chose to hit the gym that day in West Hollywood. He also spent time in the recording studio and even shared a photo on Instagram.
Despite the absence of her boyfriend, the "Shake it Off" hitmaker managed to have a great time at the wedding of her close friend. She even shared her photo with the bride on Instagram.
"It could be that Calvin doesn't particularly care for going to weddings, or that Taylor wanted to focus on being there for her BFF whom she's known all her life," Mail Online reported.
It could be the second reason since there were reports last month that the EDM superstar is eager to get married to his girlfriend. Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris will be celebrating their first year anniversary so maybe the two are focusing on their career first in preparation for their future together that's why he chose to work rather than attend the wedding.
"The Scottish hitmaker has recently discussed marriage with his parents and has told his pals that he believes he's found the one," an insider told The Sun. "Calvin has never been more content and is really smitten with Taylor. She's also head over heels and has never been in a relationship like this."
If Calvin Harris would live up to his word and not get any cold feet, then Taylor Swift will most likely get married to him soon.
