Supercell, the makers of the massively popular mobile game "Clash of Clans" recently soft launched another mobile game. Called "Clash Royale" the game features familiar characters from "Clash of Clans" with a twist. According to its official Facebook page, "'Clash Royale' is a brand new, real-time, head-to-head battle game set in the Clash Universe."
The game is not a sequel to the original game, according to the FAQs in its official website. The site even indicates that it does not use the same developers which mean they are independently improved as it focuses on a different gameplay.
The game is practically a hybrid of real time and card-based strategy games like "Hearthstone." As reported by Android Authority, "'Clash Royale' seeks to bring users the same feel of creativity by letting players assemble their own deck filled with Clash of Clans characters and elements, but with all the immediacy and engagement of a card dueling game."
The initial soft launch of the mobile game by Supercell only focused on mobile devices on select countries on iOS. But the latest update from the game developer has recently expanded their availability on Android devices. Just like its iOS counterpart, "Clash Royale" is only available in select countries.
But everyone eager to get their hands on the game should not wait any longer. Supercell recently posted a video announcement on the upcoming global release of the game. Clash Royale's official YouTube page announced that the game will be available for worldwide download this march.
Unfortunately, the exact date of release is not included in the announcement. Those who live in countries that can't access the game can pre-register in the game's download page for Android and iOS.
Aside from the official announcements, YouTubers have also posted various videos on the gameplay while explaining their strategies. Clash Royale also posted a basic gameplay video on YouTube featuring a simple introduction of the game and actual one-on-one demo.
