The upcoming live-adaption of 1894's "The Jungle Book" novel dubbed "The Jungle Book: Origins" is almost here! The film's additional details have already been revealed, including cast details just in time for the planned 2017 release date window.
The latest reports from Breathe Cast noted that the British live-adaptation film directed by Andy Serkis just revealed its official cast characters.
The forthcoming 2017's "The Jungle Book: Origins" film is apparently made of highly acclaimed actors. Enstarz noted that the cast includes "Rohan Chand as Mowgli, Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan, Christian Bale as Bagheera, Cate Blanchett as Kaa, Serkis as Baloo, Naomie Harris as Nisha and Tom Hollander as Tabaqui."
In addition to that great news, most recent reports further noted that "The Jungle Book: Origins" is, as of now, being developed. It noted that the production will finally start March 9!
It is also worth noting that the film was initially set for an Oct. 21, 2016 release date, however, Warner Bros. Picture pushed it back to a later date, permitting more time for further work on the special effects.
Needless to say, aficionados still need to wait a little bit longer as the team behind the live-adaptation film was apparently now peering toward an Oct. 6, 2017 theatrical release date window.
To ease everyone's thirst, actor Jack Reynor recently teased fans as he shared his insight with respect to the forthcoming "The Jungle Book: Origins" adventure fantasy film. As revealed by the Irish actor, the film will be completely new and unique, yet somewhat darker than its book counterpart.
"I'm really anticipating that movie, man. I think it's gonna be very good," the actor added, as noted by Movie Network. "And it's a wonderful experience, I mean, kind of one of the most profound experiences I've ever had in my life," he added.
