"Fallout 4" patch update has new things in store for players.
The post-apocalyptic video game has just gotten patch update that has, not only fixed most of the bugs in the game but has also added in some new customization features fans would enjoy.
Bethesda Studios posted on their Twitter that the Patch 1.4 is already live and available for everyone on Steam. Unfortunately, it is only available for PC gamers and those that use gaming consoles, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, would have to wait a while longer.
"As announced previously," explained the Gamespot. "Patch 1.4 introduces support for DLC (three expansions were recently detailed) and delivers a range of new art customization options for the Workshop crafting system. In addition, it delivers more than two dozen bug fixes, including a solution for a problem involving screen effects not completely clearing away after using a scope."
Apart from having 25 bug fixes, the "Fallout 4" Patch 1.4 update has a handful of interesting new features.
Art customization has been added to Workshop and offers abstract and portrait paintings, a variety of new signs, more metal and wood door variants plus raider clutter like poles, cages and tents. Super mutant clutter is also included and has things such as a meat cart, meat totems and even meat bags.
According to WCCF Tech, with the official mod support up and running thanks to the "Fallout 4" patch 1.4 update, the official PC mods can be used once they get released.
Gamers have been using fan-made mods in order to get the customization they want for their game. There are a number of unofficial mods free for download and range from very useful mods that enhance the gameplay to mods made for novelty and to purely entertain.
The release date for the PC Mods are set for April and the Xbox One mods will follow a month later. Playstation gamers will have to wait until June before they will be able to use the official mods by Bethesda.
