There were rumors coming out that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are planning to get engaged this year. Did Miranda Lambert's ex-husband already proposed to his girlfriend?
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the 46-year-old singer tried to avoid talking about the 39-year-old country superstar but end up dishing out some details.
The host of the show flashed photos of the new couple and asked Gwen why she said "yes" to Blake's proposal. The No Doubt lead singer was blushing and laughing because the comedian made it appear that her boyfriend asked her to marry him with the way she asked the question.
"So when he popped the big question ... about you being his mentor [on upcoming season of 'The Voice'], how did he do that?" DeGeneres asked.
According to Today, Gwen didn't answer how Blake asked her to be part of the talent show again. This time the blonde beauty will be a mentor instead of a coach since Christina Aguilera is back. Stefani, though, revealed the reason why she agreed to his proposal.
"I want to be on that show as much as possible," she said. "I got so much out of it."
The romance of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started because of "The Voice" and now they are allegedly planning to take their relationship to the next level. The "Used To Love You" singer is still going through her divorce with Gavin Rossdale; and that may be hindering them from getting engaged.
"[Gwen]'s desperately in love with Blake and wants to start a new life with him, but she can't until the divorce is final," an insider revealed to In Touch. "This has turned into an all-out war with Gwen's ex - and both Gwen and Blake feel like they're under siege."
According to Life & Style, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may get engaged on the country singer's birthday which is on June 18. However, that could still be moved if the songstress' divorce from her estranged husband won't get finalized yet.
