Marvel seems to be keeping Tom Holland a secret, but before he appears in "Spider-Man" reboot in 2017, the 19-year-old actor will be introduced as Peter Parker in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6.
The British teenager has some big shoes to fill since the role has been successfully portrayed by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in the past.
Even before Marvel and Sony casted Tom Holland in "Spider-Man" reboot, the star of "In The Heart of The Sea" has been training hard to improve his acrobatic skills.
Fans had a chance to see some of the possible stunts that he will be doing in the new movie in his latest Instagram post.
Tom Holland may have stunt doubles in "Spider-Man" reboot and "Captain America: Civil War" but he clearly wanted to show everyone that he is capable of doing some of his stunts as well.
Unlike the two previous actors who portrayed Peter Parker, the rising actor has a lot to offer when it comes to athletic skills.
In a separate report, one of the original cast members may reprise his role in "Spider-Man" reboot. Change.org recently launched a petition for Marvel Studios to cast J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson in Jon Watts' upcoming film.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 61-year-old actor was asked what his thoughts are about the petition.
"Doing those movies with Sam [Raimi] was one of the great joys of my career," Simmons said as reported by Comic Book Resources. "It was a super fun character so I -- I'll never close the door on anything."
Many fans will be thrilled if J.K. Simmons will reprise his role in "Spider-Man" reboot and it will be more awesome if two huge "Avengers" actors will be part of the cast as well.
There are rumors coming out that Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) will be appearing in what could be a sequel to "Civil War."
