"League Of Legends" updates with a new system that will make playing much more enjoyable for players around the world.
The newest update by the developers was announced on the official website. The instant feedback system is an automated system that will keep the game's toxicity in check by having corresponding punishments for every offence committed by players.
"In line with our determination to improve player behavior and experience in our region," as stated in the announcement. "The Instant Feedback System will detect, examine and punish players for verbal toxicity within 15 minutes of the game's end. In extreme and extended cases, it will also be able to deliver permanent bans."
There was also a very informative infographic that made it easier for players to digest how it works.
Anything that concerns homophobia, racism, sexism, bullying and even death threats can be reported. However, those reporting should observe honestly as false reports can be detected as well.
Players will be able to report abusive players in-game where the "League Of Legends" system update will examine the case and punish the player within 15 minutes. The offending player will get an in-client reform card and the one who reported will get a notification that action has taken place.
The developers have made sure that there are escalating punishments for players that do not reform. The first offence is a 10 game chat restriction followed by a 25 game chat restriction on the second offence. A two-week ban comes as the punishment for the 3rd offence and a permanent ban is placed upon the 4th offence.
In other news, the IEM "League Of Legends" World Championships will be taking place from Mar. 2 to 6 where the best teams from around the world battle it out for a prize of $500,000, as reported by ESPN.
The "League of Legends" system update is available all over the world.
