"Clash Of Clans" gets a sibling game that may be just as addicting in the new announcement update
The developers of the popular tower defense game have created a new game that is just as fun and challenging as the original mobile app game. A 30-second commercial was just released and previewed how the game works.
"'Clash Royale' uses the characters and mild fantasy setting of 'Clash of Clans,'" explained Android Police. "But you don't rally need any experience with the previous game to get into it. The strategy comes from the choice of cards in your deck and how you deploy them against your opponent's forces.
"The focus of the non-battle portion of the game is getting a wide variety of cards (which come from semi-random chests) and leveling them up to make them more powerful. There's also a strong multiplayer team element that comes from the 'Clans' legacy - playing with friends will get you bonuses that aren't available to solo players."
In "Clash Of Clans: Clash Royale" game update, each round is limited to three minutes each and would force players to go up against one another in a fast pace.
The playing field is the result of new ideas in a familiar tower defense set up but playing against another player or the computer. Another plus in this new game is that players won't have to micromanage their monsters or defense. Players get focused on destroying the two defensive towers before targeting the opponent's health.
In other news, Neurogadget announced that there is a new troop teased by Supercell. Youtuber Chief Pat was able to get an interview with the "Clash Royale" development team and got some clues as to what the new troop will be when he had an impromptu interview with a member of the "Clash Of Clans" team.
The upcoming troop is reportedly inspired by an old troop that had already existed in the game but has been removed.
"Clash Of Clans'" predecessor "Clash Royale" is now available worldwide after a long geo-limited beta phase and has had all the updates needed for its release.
