"Dancing with the Stars" is set to feature some of the most familiar faces in television today.
E! News has recently confirmed that Jodie Sweetin will be part of the highly popular dancing competition on television. Sweetin, who is currently starring in Netflix's "Fuller House," will be working with Keo Mostepe for the rest of the competition.
According to the report, this is not the first time the popular TV actress was invited to the show, "Sweetin admitted to turning down the show in the past due to scheduling conflicts with 'Fuller House,' but said she's been a huge fan of the show."
Sweetin is not the only one confirmed contestant for the upcoming show. Ginger Zee of "Good Morning America" will also be part of the show. ET Online has also confirmed her partner, "'Good Morning America' meteorologist, Ginger Zee, have signed on for season 22 of the reality dance competition show. Zee, who had her first child in December, will be paired with Val Chmerkovskiy..."
Another popular name confirmed to be part of the show is Mischa Barton. The 30-year old Londoner will show her dancing skills stateside starting this March and it could be considered as her return to limelight after many years. According to The Daily Mail, "It marks a return to the limelight for Barton who's struggled to find mainstream success since starring as Marissa Cooper on the Fox series from 2003 to 2007."
The fresh names for the upcoming season are coming after the news of departures and returns. According to TV Guide, professional dance instructor Derek Hough will no longer be part of the show. His latest stint in DWTS has been successful as he has partnered with the winner Bindi Irwin. On the other hand, Len Goodman will be back as one of the critics after leaving the show for one season.
