It's been confirmed that "American Horror Story" season 6 will premiere this year and Lady Gaga just announced that she will return to the FX franchise. The 29-year-old singer won Best Actress in a Limited Series at the Golden Globe Awards early this year. Maybe her win has inspired her to do more interesting roles.

During an interview with Z100 radio, Lady Gaga was asked if she will return in the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk horror saga. According to Vanity Fair, the "Poker Face" hitmaker said "yes" but tried not to give out details about her new role.

"I can't promise you how or when or anything like that," she said. "Ryan will kill me if I tease anything."

In the previous season, Lady Gaga starred as the Countess who is the matriarch of Hotel Cortez. Based on her interview, the singer would most likely have a new role in "American Horror Story" season 6. Last October, Ryan Murphy begged the "Born This Way" singer to return in the show via Twitter.

Apart from Lady Gaga, Jessica Lange also showed interest in returning to the franchise. The 66-year-old actress starred as Constance Langdon in "Murder House," Sister Jude in "Asylum," Fiona Goode in "Coven," and Elsa Mars in "Freak Show." During an interview with the Wrap, she hinted returning in season 6.

"If Ryan came to me and said, 'Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?' I would absolutely say yes if I liked it," Lange said. "This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him."

Seeing these two talented actresses return in "American Horror Story" season 6 will surely boost the series' ratings. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly last year, Ryan Murphy hinted that they may launch two seasons in 2016.

"Next year we might do a fall 'American Horror Story' and a spring," he said. "We have to decide . . . The next thing we're crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark."
