Tool has reportedly collaborated with "Guns N' Roses" member Chris Pitman for their new upcoming album.
According to Alternative Nation, Pitman recently posted a picture on social media which hints his collaboration with musical band.
"Studio nite, tracking, #dannycarey #beatrazr #kentbrisley #toolband," Pitman captioned the picture on Twitter.
It is to be noted that Tool has already begun working on music videos for their upcoming new album.
In a Q&A discussion on Reddit posted by NSYK, Tool guitarist Adam Jones revealed that the band is currently working on two music videos for their new album, reported Alternative Nation.
He also discussed about the band's plans and upcoming projects.
"Adam talked a lot about the process they were going through on the new album," the Redditor said. "No one asked about the progress, so I can't tell you what the status of that was."
"What I did find very telling, however, was him talking about the progress they've made in producing the two music videos. It came out of him talking about using CGI vs stop motion work in Hollywood and his time as a visual effects artist. This made me believe they are very far along in their work on the album."
However, the Redditor did not mention anything about the new album or its release date.
In another interview with Rolling Stone, the guitarist assured that the band's new album is progressing "really well."
"Things are really flowing and going really well, and I'm just blown away at the stuff that's coming together," Jones said. "I'm excited and can't wait for it to be done."
"Our greatest strength is jamming and coming up with stuff," Jones told Rolling Stone in a separate interview. "We're doing that really well now and I'm excited about everything we're working on."
While Tool hasn't announced a release date for their new album, it is expected that the release might happen sometime later in 2016.
