Lambert, who ignited tremendous reactions from people all over the world, was first seen in her new curves at the 2013 CMA Awards. She lost 20 pounds but never realized her transformation would be the talk of the town. She added that people should stop judging other women based on their weight.
She told The Examiner, "Everybody's making this big, giant thing about my weight loss. It's way too much focus on women's bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they've got going on."
Lambert reiterated that she once felt insecure about her weight just like other women and is happy that she is now fit, toned and has a healthy weight. This is more rewarding for her especially that she is a celebrity facing thousands of people from all walks of life.
"When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your sh*t's not jiggling," said Lambert, 31.
"I'm just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized," she added.
She revealed that her secret to a healthier body was her portion-controlled diet and rigorous circuit-training workouts for her transformation. She has cut down her portion sizes in half and eats healthier options for breakfast instead of her usual bacon and eggs. She now drinks healthy green juice for breakfast.
In related news, her marriage with Shelton has been the topic of rumors lately. However, Miranda slammed the divorce speculation and says they are doing fine. "I'm not sunshine and roses. Blake's the happiest person on the planet. He pulls me out of my darkness. Literally, everything is the best about being married."
Lambert, who has sold more than 5 million albums, recently dropped her fifth album, Platinum, which won album of the year at the 2014 CMA Awards.
