Recently, Apple, the tech giant for smartphones, released their much-awaited iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which has the new iOS8. It contains a new health app that would aid users on living a healthy lifestyle.

If users have the brand new phone or has updated their old iPhone to the new operating system of Apple, iOS8, there is a new fitness tracker included in the phone that can aid in the physical fitness activities of users. The app is called 'Health'.

The application can track down the steps in walking, running and even in flight of stairs. It works on a M8 motion compressor chip that has an advanced sensor that has an accelerometer or gyroscope that determines the orientation of the user in space.

Also, it has a HealthKit that collates all data on health, fitness and nutrition data on the cellphone. It's like a nutritional calorie counter in your pocket. All health related apps can be added to have a more comprehensive look for the overall wellness and health of users.

To maximize its use, first is to keep the gadget on hand at all times. Keeping the phone in the pocket can track the steps you take each day and how many calories you lose for your physical activities. This can track down how mobile you are or how sedentary your lifestyle is.

Checking the steps you make is free and it the tips of your fingertips. By doing so, you can determine how many steps you make. There should be at least 10,000 steps each day to become healthy and physically active. A recent study shows that having at least 12,500 steps a day can fight high blood sugar levels.
