Val Kilmer weight issues were never a secret. The 54-year-old actor apparently cannot win when it comes to his waist line.
He was recently spotted at Malibu, California shopping inside a Levi's store. He might have been out on a gift shopping spree for his loved ones or he could also have been choosing some new clothes for himself. He appeared significantly slimmer as compared to the last time that he was seen in public.
He sported a button-down shirt and comfortable pants that showed off his new slender figure. It is because of this new skinny appearance that weight loss related headlines on Val Kilmer weight surfaced on the World Wide Web.
Many criticized his "dramatically shrinking frame," while some even described him as "gaunt." Obviously, this new Val Kilmer weight sent the Internet abuzz as it was, indeed, a huge difference from what the public saw back in 2007.
At the time, after he put on a lot of weight, various tabloids and online news outlets discussed his transformation, calling it "from Batman to fatman."
Although his new Val Kilmer weight came as a shock to many, it actually did not happen overnight. He played the role of Iceman in "Top Gun" and Jim Morrison in "The Doors." It was during December of 2012 that he first showed signs of slimming down. However, it was only this past September that people started to take notice.
Some even credited his physique overhaul to "walking his a*s off" and a healthy diet. TMZ reported, "There was no personal chef or magic diet pill. Just healthy eating and exercise, especially long walks on the beach by his home in Malibu, which doesn't suck."
Plus, apart from his weight loss regimen, he was also busy working. He will be portraying the role of Mark Twain in an upcoming film, "Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn," which will be out in April next year. He is also featured in a still untitled film by Terrence Malick.
