Here's What to Do to Prevent Hangover

While parties are fun, the aftermath-not so much. Most, after all, have to deal with hangovers and worse migraines with hangovers.

There's no secret formula to deal with it, but there are some steps that you can take to improve its prevention.

As outlined by an article recently published in the Telegraph, you make sure that you load yourself with protein during lunchtime. Proteins can help keep your stomach full, and you're not advised to drink with your stomach empty. Moreover, since your lunch is heavy, the chances of alcohol quickly destabilizing sugar are low. This prevents you from feeling dizzy or lightheaded during and after your drink.

You can choose healthy lean proteins for lunch, but it's best if you can complement them with eggs since they have amino acids that can reduce the effects of alcohol toxins in the body.

In the middle of the afternoon, you can start boosting your immunity and strength by taking some vitamins and minerals. The basic explanation is simple: alcohol acts as a diuretic. That's why you can't help but pee a lot when you're drinking. This leaves you not only dehydrated but also lacking in vitamins and minerals. To combat that, load yourself up with vitamins, especially B vitamins.

Before you hit the party or when you're ready for dinner, choose dishes that have carbs and fats. They slow down the body's absorption of alcohol, so you don't feel the effects very quickly.

But be careful. There's good and bad carb or fat. Before you drink, select the food you're going to eat well.

Another way to decrease alcohol absorption is not to drink alcohol in one gulp. Rather, alternate beers and cocktails with water. This prevents dehydration as well.
