Action-adventure hack and slash video game "DmC: Devil May Cry" is developed by Ninja Theory and published by Capcom for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. This will be the fifth installment of the "Devil May Cry" and serves as a reboot. Players will be taking on the role of half-angel and half-demon Dante as he fights enemies and navigate through Limbo City as well as in its parallel world.

One new addition to the series is the Angel Mode and Devil Mode. These modes modify Dante's moveset and can be activated by holding down one of the trigger buttons. Capcom requested the reimagination of the "Devil May Cry" series. This resulted to Ninja Theory making the game with a new story framework. The Japanese developer assisted the video game developer in order to ensure that the game will still be reminiscent of previous titles.

Ninja Theory announced through their Twitter account that the "DmC: Devil May Cry" Definitive Edition will be released a week earlier than expected. The developer tweeted, "DmC Definitive Edition will now be released a week earlier on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The new release date is March 10th." The game will reportedly cost $40 / €40.

According to TechnoBuffalo, Capcom did incredibly well in setting apart "DmC: Devil May Cry" from other definitive editions by "going insane with the content and gameplay modes."

An exciting new mode for the game is the Turbo Mode which enables the gamer to shake up the actual core gameplay. This mode makes the game fly by twenty percent faster than a normal game at 60 frames per second in 1080p. It also has improved textures, more character and weapons skins, manual target lock feature, and an additional chapter for Vergil's Downfall. The comparison trailer below shows the difference between the original speed and turbo mode.
