Harry Styles recently made the headlines with rumors that he was planning to go solo. Although it was proved in recent reports that he had not intentions of leaving the band, he has still pursued his own path in song writing.
Johan Carlsson, the producer of Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande, has admitted that he has been working on some songs with the British pop star. They were the ones who were responsible for Grande’s hit, “Just A Little Bit of Your Heart.” According to Carlsson, they have been writing some new songs before Styles left with the rest of One Direction for their On the Road Again Tour.
“We’ve been writing on and off several days a week for four weeks,” Carlsson told Daily Mail. “Harry’s fantastic with the words and he can really put down lyrics that are very conversational and people can relate to. We’re just having a good time.”
It would appear, as reported by J-14, that Styles is attempting to make a name for himself in the song writing department. A separate article on J-14 claims that the song he wrote for the “Problem” singer brought her to tears, while Realty Today insists that he, aliased as Mick Greenberg, was the one who wrote “I Love You” for Alex and Sierra, with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in mind.
Since the “X-Factor” winners hinted that Greenberg may have been in a fling with Swift, which prompted fans to immediately assume they were referring to Styles, rumors about the One Direction member being Mick Greenberg surfaced on the Internet. The Vine says that Styles once checked into a hotel under the name of Mick Green.
Moreover, some amateur investigators over at MTV said that Styles was, indeed, Greenberg. Fans who go to the ASCAP, or the American Society for Composers Authors and Publishers, website and type in Mick Greenberg, they will be immediately forwarded to the name “Harry Styles.”
