Don't be surprised if your social media is flooded with yellow. They may be doing it for the Seth Lane.

Seth, 5, is a native of Northamptonshire, England. He's a smart, happy child who loves his younger brother very much. However, unlike other children his age, he is extremely fragile. Case in point: he can never be sick.

The reason: he doesn't have an immune system.

Seth is one of the very few children who suffer from a life-threatening condition known as severe combined immonudeficiency (SCID), which means he doesn't have any white blood cell to protect him from any kind of infection. A cold, for example, that may be normal for many can spell death to him. He can build up fluid in his lungs and develop pneumonia, among others. Thus, he needs to live in a sterile, germ-free environment, earning him the moniker of "bubble boy."

According to his mother, everything he touches needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sometimes exposed to high temperatures to ensure all bacteria are killed. If one of his family members is sick, he or she can't go near Seth.

He was diagnosed with the disease when he was 5 months old. At first, when he was only a few weeks old, he started vomiting almost any type of milk given to him. He was also underweight. His parents brought him to several doctors until one day he had to be admitted since he was having difficulty in breathing. It was right then that he's discovered without any form of immunity.

So far, the most effective way to treat the disease is through a bone marrow transplant. He already underwent one, and he's scheduled to go through another within the next 6 weeks.

As a show of support and love, he is requesting anyone to wear something yellow, his favorite color.
