Whether or not Kratos returns to "God of War 4," fans will be able to play the main protagonist again come "God of War 3" Remastered release date in July!
It was late last year when the fourth installment to the action-adventure Greek mythology themed video game was confirmed to be in development, according to IGN. While suspected to be on its early stages, a mid-2015 release date announcement is just fitting.
According to rumors, "God of War 4" is likely to be announced during the June Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. And it will only until such time that fans may get more details coming to "God of War 4."
As soon as the announcement of development was made, fans already began speculating about plot and character details that include Kratos' return to "God of War 4"
According to rumors, the main protagonist since the first "God of War" might not return come "God of War 4" release date, and this is based on what occurred in "God of War 3." Who will lead the PS4-exclusive "God of War 4" remains to be seen and hopefully it will be announced come E3.
Meanwhile, a remastered version of "God of War 3" released in 2010 will be made available to PS4 gamers worldwide. "God of War 3" Remastered release date has been set on July 14 --- a month after the alleged "God of War 4" unveiling at E3.
The "God of War 3" Remastered is said to feature 1080p support and a photo mode and is a marker on the franchise's 10th year in production. However, "God of War 3" will be the only remastered version from the franchise.
According to Aaron Kaufman on the PlayStation Blog, "No plans for others in the franchise to bring over," he clarified.
"Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play 'God of War 3' 5 years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4," he continued. "People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we'd like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, form generation to generation."
