"Marvel Mighty Heroes" game will be ending its first epic event. DeNA executive producer Justin Lambros revealed details of Infinity event's grand finale and the next part of the game.
"Now that Thanos has located his goal, nothing is going to stop him," Lambros told Marvel.com. "It's going to take a collection of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the galaxy's most powerful protectors to try and stop total annihilation."
He added that the responsibility to put together the right combination of heroes in facing this final stand will be at the players' hands. Players who have been collecting powerful allies during the previous events will most likely have the upper-hand when the event comes to a conclusion.
Lambros also talked about the Mad Titan, saying that players will need to survive the hordes of aliens attacking Earth and throughout the galaxy. These aliens are aligned with Thanos. Players will have several missions to go through in order to raise their Event Point multiplier and get to the top of the "Marvel Mighty Heroes" game leaderboard.
Once players unlock Thanos as the boss battle, they will definitely have their hands full. Lambros admitted that Thanos is the "biggest, baddest boss yet." He is able to take a ton of damage before he is defeated. Moreover, while players need to deal with the damage inflicted by Thanos, they also have to withstand his special attack powered by the Reality Gem.
"As you progress in the event, he'll get tougher and tougher, so you better power up your heroes," Lambros explained.
The DeNA exec has revealed that the next event theme was inspired from the comics. It will be named Inhumanity, after the events of Infinity. He said that they are very excited since they will be introducing new characters, new alternate suits and new gameplay modes as well. More Inhumans are set to make their appearances in the next "Marvel Mighty Heroes" game event.
"Let us know who your favorite Inhuman character is and just maybe you'll get to see them in the game," Justin Lambros stated. "There's plenty more surprises left for the game and I can't wait for Inhumanity to start showing our players what we have up our sleeves."
