Bossa Studios' "I Am Bread" game will be coming to PS4. No official release date has been announced.

"Around the time we were finishing up 'Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition' for PS4, I had a completely reasonable thought; 'If bread could move, how would it do it, and what could it possibly want to achieve?'" Luke Williams, Game Designer for Bossa Studios wrote on the PlayStation blog.

The prequel to "Surgeon Simulator" will have the same premise and a few design challenges. In Bossa Studios' "I Am Bread" game, the goal is to become toast. Each level requires players to use their general world knowledge to generate or find a source of heat while trying to remain edible.

The bread is able to grab any surface or object with one of its four corners. Players can hold any combination of the triggers on DualShock 4 and use the right control stick to flip the bread around the points. Players can also make up their own methods of traversing and climbing the game's world.

Williams also revealed that they have added a whole host of game modes that allows players to take control of a new type of bread. Each type of bread has their own variation of the controls and comes with completely new goals and challenges.

Players can become a baguette and smash their way around the various levels and try to create as much destruction as possible. Players can also become a bagel and roll their way around a series of race courses in record time. In Bossa Studios' "I Am Bread" game, players have several challenging Trophies to try and earn.

IGN commented that "I Am Bread" has "its own unique charms, with a darkly silly tone, a minimal but effective story, and open-ended level design that's richer than the simple premise might lead you to expect."
