Time-travel third-person shooter game hasn't appeared in the latest E3 2015 as fans speculated. However, Xbox's Phil Spencer revealed that "Quantum Break" for Xbox One will be part of the August festivities during Gamescom, where release date is among the many possible details to be announced!
It has been quite a while since fans heard about news and detail of Remedy Entertainment's Xbox One game "Quantum Break." In the latest E3 2015 in California, both critics and fans expected an announcement of the game, especially since the third-person shoot game has been in development since 2013. Sadly, not a peep, largely not an actual release date detail for "Quantum Break" was heard during the event.
A report by Telegraph revealed that there were no updates shared by neither Remedy Entertainment nor Microsoft for "Quantum Break." While the game's release date has been delayed to an indefinite 2016 from 2014, Xbox boss Phil Spencer spared a small detail of the game.
"Phil Spencer back in his Rare t-shirt. Mentioned the missing games from the conference 'Quantum Break,' 'Scalebound' and 'Crackdown.' Will all be at Gamescom in August apparently," the report read.
Back in April, Remedy Entertainment announced the delayed release date of "Quantum Break" for Xbox One. Microsoft's Shannon Loftis shared, "With so many Xbox One games launching this year, moving 'Quantum Break' to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP."
Director and developer Sam Lake added his thoughts on "Quantum Break" release date delay and said in the same announcement, "We're really proud to be part of the incredible Xbox One line-up. We thank our fans for their patience, and want them to know that the team is taking advantage of this opportunity to polish and fine tune the game to create the kind of standout entertainment experience they've come to expect from us."
