The "Persona 5" release date may still happen this year.
Geek Snack reported that an Atlus PR confirmed the news through the NeoGAF thread on the "Persona" localization. "Pretty much this," NeoGAF user AtlusPrime wrote. "Also, this interview was done back during E3 - first day, I think. Still on track for 2015."
The news has rekindled the excitement of fans since news about the "Persona 5" release date and other promotional materials have been lacking. If Atlus' game will be released this year, there will most likely be more information on "Persona 5" soon. It will be published for PS3 and PS4.
It was previously reported that the "Persona 5" release date may happen between October and December. Sega Sammy has four confirmed Japanese game titles for its first and second quarters of their 2016 fiscal year, which is from Apr. to Sep. 2015.
Sega's forecast indicated that four retail games will be released in Japan during that period as well. Unless the "Persona 5" release date will be delayed again for next year, it will most likely be published within this year since it is included in the full year forecasts for the titles to be released.
"Persona 5" will be the newest installment in the franchise. It revolves around a group of high school students who can summon their "Personas" to combat monsters. It will feature the return of Shigenori Soejima as character designer and Shoji Meguro as music composer.
The "Persona 4: Dancing All Night" release date has been revealed. According to IGN, Atlus USA has announced that the game will be launched on Sep. 29 on PS Vita in North America. Atlus will also release a special "Disco Fever edition" which includes a two-disc soundtrack, 14 DLC outfits and Vita case and skin.
The game is set with the Investigation Team searching for missing members of Kanamin Kitchen. Humanoid Hatsune Miku will make an appearance in "Persona 4: Dancing All Night." She will be available for download in mid-August in the Japanese edition of the Vita game.
