New faces, as well as returning cast members, will join "Chicago PD" season 3.
According to latest cast updates, Det. Lindsay's mother could have more episodes in the upcoming run. Rumor has it that her character will help the troubled officer get back on track.
"According to The Hollywood Reporter, Detective Lindsay's mother, who is played by guest star Markie Post, is coming this season," VC Post reported. "No other details included but it seems that Lindsey may need her mother's care."
"Additionally, producer Haas confirmed via his Twitter account that Bunny is back with 'wreaking havoc at a new level.'"
Apart from Bunny, "Chicago PD" season 3 spoilers also revealed that "The Flash" star Clancy Brown will be part of the show next season.
"Actor Clancy Brown, who appeared in the DC Universe as General Wade Elling, has been casted to play Eddie Little. According to THR, Little is an inmate who Voight met when he was imprisoned. Now, he is one of Voight's informants," VC Post continued.
Meanwhile, fans will finally know whether Detective Lindsay will lose it and resolve not to return to the force after Nadia's death.
"It sticks with Lindsay in terms of, 'Where do I belong?' Lindsay starts to look at her badge like, 'Am I better off minding my own business, crawling in a bottle and not reaching out to people?'" Producer Matt Olmstead told Entertainment Weekly, as reported by Fashion & Style.
"The enormity of the loss and what she's going through might make it real easy to go over to the other the side of the tracks and start having drinks with her mom. A part of her thinks, 'This is where I belonged to begin with,' so it's a fork in the road."
"Chicago PD" season 3 will premiere on Sept. 30.
