Years before "Fast & Furious 8" and fans are already counting. Newest updates about the favorite franchise involves the newest cast member, actress Cara Delevigne joins the next installment. Does this mean another addition to the Toretto crew or will she be the next big bad guy (girl)?

Latest reports reveal that while "Fast & Furious 8" won't be available in more than 2 years, cast additions have already reported and the latest is "Suicide Squad" star Cara Delevigne.

Speculations on the new cast member of "Fast & Furious 8" stemmed from the last part of "Furious 7" where Jordana Brewster's character, Mia Toretto, is assumed to be leaving the next installment after her character "retires" from the entire fast car scene.

According to Enstarz, "Delevingne would make for a great addition to Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) family which is one female member down, we are assuming Mia (Jordana Brewster) will not be returning as she left to live the family life with Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker)."

"In fact Delevingne would also make for a striking villainous figure," the report pointed out.

"Fast & Furious 8" star Vin Diesel also talked about having another addition to the cast, in the likes of legendary Helen Mirren. When asked by ET Online what her character in "Fast & Furious 7" could be, Diesel said, "There are so many options! You've got Nathalie Emmanuel's mother. You've got, of course, the matriarch to the Shaw brothers!"

While to date, nothing has been set to stone about "Fast & Furious 8" casting especially the new actors coming in, but a few vets of the franchise have already officially announced their return. Among the returning cast members of "Fast & Furious 8" includes the patriarch of the crew, Vin Diesel, along with his brothers-at-arms, Dwayne Johnson.

The rest of the Toretto crew have also committed to returning to "Fast & Furius 8" including Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris Bridges, Kurt Russell and Michelle Rodriguez who is coincidentally, Cara Delevigne's ex-partner.

"Fast & Furious 8" returns on the big screen in 2017.
