"Teen Wolf" season 5 plot has been experiencing a lot of ups and downs of late.
Apart from the absence of Arden Cho's Kira, another character has also been noticed to be missing.
The MTV show has been plagued with a series of murders. Mr. McCall - an FBI agent - is Scott's father. He has not appeared in the show for quite some time now. That said, it is highly likely that he will be more than surprised to find out about what has been going on in Beacon Hills once he returns - especially now that there are more villains in the mix, as pointed out by Enstarz.
Sadly, though, neither Matthew Del Negro - the actor who plays Mr. McCall - and show runners has confirmed that the said character will be back. "That is more of a question for the powers that be," Del Negro wrote on Twitter, responding to a fan's question. "We will have to wait and see."
Mellissa Ponzio - who plays Melisa McCall - however, is convinced that Del Negro will be back to reprise his role.
"We have had so many on-set discussions about the McCalls and what the future may bring," Ponzio told My Fanbase. "I think there is more to the story of why Agent McCall left. I think it is deeper. We have a lot of story to tell. I do not know what Jeff Davis will pull from next."
With regards to Kira, though, Davis has revealed to TV Line that "she will be back soon." He even confirmed that she will be seen "in Episode 12." Apparently, Kira and her mother will try to find a way to undo the damage that the Doctors inflicted on her.
"We have a really big episode which is all about Kira and Noshiko going off on their own story to try to figure out how to tame the fox spirit within her," he told Entertainment Weekly. "It takes place, actually, in the desert in New Mexico where they have to journey."
