Latest news on the much-awaited "X-Men: Apocalypse" have revealed that while fans are satiated with mere social media updates by the cast of the movie, soon the trailer will be released to the public and it won't be such a long wait after all.
According to a report by KpopStarz, "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer will be unleashed the same time as Ridley Scott's "The Martian" premieres in Oct. 2. The Matt Damon-led film has been rumored to already be generating Oscar buzz and will be another science-fiction movie that also stars "Crimson Peak" actress Jessica Chastain and "House of Cards" cast member Kate Mara.
Meanwhile, before the "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer goes viral, the movie's writer, Simon Kinberg shared the details behind the roughly science fiction genre of "X-Men: Apocalypse." A report by Cinemablend revealed, "I feel like we have been, the 'X-Men' franchise, has been growing a little bit more into science fiction."
"I think Days of Future Past with time travel and the Sentinels took us into a slightly broader, more science fiction world than the films had occupied in the past," said Kinberg. "We felt like the movies were ready for something that was slightly more, let's say, cosmic."
The full cast members of "X-Men: Apocalypse" to be revealed in the upcoming trailer include veterans of the franchise such as Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence with new equally stellar additions in the likes of "Game of Thrones" Sophie Turner and rising star Olivia Munn.
Oscar Isaac will also be revealed as the main villain in the "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer coming soon this October. Release date for the movie is set in May 27, 2016.
