The death of Jon Snow is a lingering question to "Game of Thrones" fans and while every cast has remained mum on the subject, Kit Harington has continued to leave bread crumbs all around town showing the world that he does know something.

Latest news have revealed that strong evidence points to the return of Ned Stark's bastard son, Jon Snow to "Game of Thrones" season 6. It hasn't been quite clear if Kit Harinton's character indeed met his fate as season 5 closed this year, and the clamor for his return has indeed made waves across fans worldwide.

DailyMail reported spotting Kit Harinton in Belfast where "Game of Thrones" season 6 is filming. "The 28-year-old actor, who plays Jon Snow in the hit HBO series, was spotted on set in Belfast looking very much alive," the report said. "Having ditched his blacks, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was standing tall in Stark clothes with his sword on his hip as they filmed on the remote Northern Ireland hilltop."

How Jon Snow will return to "Game of Thrones" season 6  remains debatable as previous reports have pointed out that Kit Harington's character really could have died in season 5, and will be returning to season 6 for seemingly flashback plots, one that will most likely explore his backstory.

The speculation that Kit Harington still keeps his Jon Snow do supports the backstory rumor and while of course his return will keep fans happy, it could still mean that in "Game of Thrones" season 5, Jon Snow did bleed out lying in the cold.

Meanwhile, addressing Jon Snow's return to "Game of Thrones" season 6, Kit Harington himself hinted that he still is part of the cast and his return is more than possible.  Talking to VanityFair, Kit Harington said, "Let's just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects [laughs]."

Kit Harington is turning 29 this December. So, that means Jon Snow will be around "Game of Thrones" in no less than two more seasons --- that's a pretty long backstory, don't you think?
