There are mixed Lamar Odom news regarding the former NBA star's condition.
A source told Us Weekly that the former Laker player's brain is swollen and that doctors still could not tell what type of brain damage he has. Odom is also on dialysis because his kidneys shut down.
"Things are not looking good," a source said. "[Khloe] is the one making all the decisions for him."
Vanity Fair noted that there are conflicting reports on the condition of Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband. There are Lamar Odom news that reveal that the two-time NBA champion has made progress while another publication reported that he is on his "last leg."
"Apparently from what the doctor said, he was much better off today than yesterday," Rev. Jesse Jackson said. "He, at least, has some responsiveness now. He's got tubes in him now, but we felt inspired by his presence."
Lamar Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas. He is said to have ingested cocaine and "herbal Viagra." Apparently, Odom took 10 pills of the sexual enhancer over three days.
Khloe, Rob Kardashian and family are now at Lamar's side at the hospital. Kris Jenner also asked for prayers for her former son-in-law on social media.
"As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar," a note on Khloe Kardashian's website read. "Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."
According to the Daily News, the former NBA star's breakdown was caused by the death of his best friend, Jamie Sangouthai in June. "My son and Lamar were like brothers," Guillermo Castillo, Sangouthai's father, told the publication.
"I think Lamar was just done. I think most of it is because he missed my son so much. I think deep inside they had a death wish, or a wish to die together."
