"Expendables 4" is one of the most awaited films to date, especially with its star-studded cast.
Now, fans of this action franchise are at the edge of their seats after rumors of Dwayne Johnson and Jackie Chan joining the cast surfaced online.
As reported by Latinos Post, production for the film is already underway. That said, it is only safe to assume that film makers have already chosen who will be part of the "Expendables 4" cast. Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jason Statham have already confirmed to the press that they are excited to reprise their roles. Fans are now excited to find out who will be joining them on the set.
In addition to Dwayne Johnson and Jackie Chan, the rumor mill has also been abuzz with speculations that Pierce Brosnan, Hulk Hogan, and Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will be part of the "Expendables 4" Cast.
It must be noted, though, that news about the involvement of Brosnan, Pacquiao, and Hogan in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming action film first surfaced online when he was spotted talking with them over the past several months. This led fans to speculate that they were discussing the possibilities of their involvement in the "Expendables" franchise.
It has become clear now that Brosnan, Pacquiao, and Chan will not be part of the movie. Stallone may have approached the Chinese actor, but he had reportedly declined to be part of it, since he did not want to only be featured in an insignificant role.
The Rock, however, has already revealed his interest in being part of the "Expendables 4" cast. As Cross Map has reported, he will only take part in the film if he was going to be given a villain role. Apparently, he wants to get the opportunity to "beat every single one of them up" - which is saying a lot, considering that "them" refers to the film's slate of amazing action stars.
