Eiichiro Oda's "One Piece" manga continues its winning streak as the best-selling manga.

According to Crunchyroll, data compiling company Oricon has announced the 2015 best-selling book annual ratings. The company specializes in collating data for the music/book industry in Japan. Data was compiled from Dec. 1, 2014 to Nov. 30, 2015.

"One Piece" manga is still the best-selling manga, holding on to the top rank for seven years in a row since 2009. The popular series, based on the Straw Hats Pirates, sold a whopping 14,102,521 copies during the period.

The sales for "One Piece" manga went up by 18 percent from last year's which saw the sale of 11,885,957 copies. Four volumes of the series were released in 2015.

Nakaba Suzuki's "The Seven Deadly Sins" manga nabbed the second spot from Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan" manga series. It sold 10,304,112 copies, which was 2.2 times more than last year's 4,633,246.

The publication commented that the success of Suzuki's manga was mainly due to "The Seven Deadly Sins" anime adaptation, which aired in Japan from Oct. 2014 to Mar. 2015. Yusei Matsui's "Assassination Classroom" and Yuuto Tsukuda & Shun Saeki's "Shokugeki no Soma" also saw a rise in sales which is also attributed to their TV anime adaptation.

Meanwhile, the "Attack on Titan" manga series seems to have lost its popularity in Japan with a 26 percent decrease in sales. It previously sold 11,728,368 copies in 2014 which was already almost half of the sales in 2013 (15,933,801). 2015 saw the sale of 8,778,048 copies for the series.

"Kingdom," "Terraformars," "Prison School," "Tokyo Ghoul:re" and "Haikyu!!" were also included in the list of the top 10 best-selling manga in Japan.

Ecumenical News reported that Bandai Namco has released new screenshots for "One Piece: Burning Blood." The images showcased some characters in the fighting game which is due for release next year for PS4 and PS Vita as well as the Xbox One.
