A "Sons of "Anarchy" prequel and spin-off are underway, but it looks like Charlie Hunnam's return is still up for debate.
Is the actor hesitant to join Kurt Sutter's new project because of how things ended in "Sons of Anarchy?"
"Kurt and I had a conversation in the beginning of the final season," Charlie explained to Men's Jounal. "He (Sutter) was thinking that Jax would probably live through it and I was sort of with him."
"I was operating under that assumption for the whole season. At the end of it we both realized that it would have been more tragic to let him live after what he had gone through," he said. "In my heart Jax has found peace."
Although Jax Teller's demise was a sad ending to the iconic character, this has not damaged Charlie and Kurt's working relationship. However, the actor also dished on the times were things got out of hand between them.
"Kurt and I never blasted each other in the face, but I'll say it got close," he said. "There has been security rushing onto set and pulling us apart before."
Meanwhile, more details about the highly-anticipated "Sons of Anarchy" prequel surfaced online just recently.
According to latest rumors, the lead character for the prequel has already been decided on and it will be played by a very popular A-list celeb.
"The next installment is speculated to have a new character in the role of Charlie's father," Kdramastars revealed. "Charlie Hunnam plays the character of Jax Teller in the drama series. The prequel is rumored to focus more on Jax's father, John Teller."
"Crossmap reported that the actor who is rumored to play the role of Charlie's father in the upcoming prequel is Brad Pitt. The new episodes from the series will also focus on John Teller's relationship with Piney."
