The publication noted that there are speculations on the "Spider-Man" movie 2017 costume claiming that the web-slinging hero will be wearing multiple suits in the movie. Russo fueled the rumors further when he revealed that Holland's costume will be a "mixture of what people have seen before."
Comicbookmovie.com reported that the director "fielded" questions about the "Spider-Man" movie 2017 costume in an interview with Spanish website Super Interessante. He was asked whether fans would see three varieties of the hero's highly-anticipated attire.
"Well, we did a lot of research and experimented with the looks of each character," Russo revealed.
"We went through the same process with Spider-Man. We knew it was going to be someone young and it was very important to us because we wanted to give this essence to the character, because he is someone unique to the Marvel Universe."
The "Captain America: Civil War" director added that Tom Holland is "an amazing Spider-Man" and that "many people will love him."
"We're still working on a few things, like the costume," Russo admitted. "He's not ready yet because so much will be produced with special effects."
"The film will show a mix of what everyone is waiting for with a little twist."
Meanwhile, according to another report by Comicbookmovie.com, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige revealed his thoughts about the "Spider-Man" movie this 2017 in an interview with Empire magazine.
"It's going to be as big and spectacular a Spider-Man film as has ever been made," he said.
"But it's a Peter Parker story and has more opportunity to be focused on the story of a 15-year-old kid going to high school."
