A report by AustraliaNetworkNews reported that while Frank Ocean's new album is among the highly anticipated records since 2015, there's a possibility that as the release date could be 2016, it may come out more quiet than anticipated. While there's no proof of this rumor, there's nothing impossible as far as Frank Ocean fans are concerned, especially since the release date announcement has come and gone, and almost a year after, there's still no "Boys Don't Cry" anywhere to be found.
MusicTimes lists the Frank Ocean new album to be the most expected records of this year, seeing that it was supposedly ready for release last July according to the artist himself. "Oh Frank you cruel man," it said. "Fans have been waiting on this album to give them the soothing r&b they have been yearning for since 2012's 'Channel Orange.' His brother rickrolled almost the entire internet claiming to release the album at the end of July. It is a sign that everyone is so eager to listen that they would fall for something as simple as that."
"Frank, just make this year the year that you release 'Boys Don't Cry'," added the report.
While there's a lot of news about Frank Ocean and the possibilities of the new album, the release date has yet to be confirmed. Although Frank Ocean fans seem to be discouraged from ever seeing "Boys Don't Cry" anytime soon, LATimes remains hopeful that soon enough, a release date won't only be announced, but the new album will actually come during the set date.
