The director of the anime adaptation of Akira Hiramoto's "Prison School," Tsutomu Mizushima had a conversation on Twitter late last year, with author Naoyuki Uchida and they revealed that Season 2's release date is most probably be delayed, according to Otaku Tale.
After watching the first season's finale episode, the horror and mystery author started the conversation online by praising the anime and asks if a second season is in the works.
Mizushima responded and thanked Uchida for watching both "Shirobako" and "Prison School." He also added that a second season may not be possible at the moment, even if he wants to produce one.

Mizushima is also "Shirobako's" director and the second season of the anime is also on hold due to the demands of his schedule, which is filled out for the next couple of years.
"Prison School" is broadcasted in Japan by AT-X, KBS, Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, Tokyo MX and Nippon BS Broadcasting Corporation.

The J.C. Staff Studio is the creator of the anime adaptation of the Japanese romance and comedy manga series "Prison School." The series is written by Michiko Yokote and music by the Mizushima, revealed ReleaseDate.
The anime's series of events take place inside a place that is known for its severe standards, the Hachimitsu Academy. The institution is mainly an academy for females but has recently opened its doors to the oppposite sex. The place has its own set of rules as well, which makes it similar to a prison. Its storyline revolves around Kiyoshi Fujino, a male enrollee of the Academy.
"Prison School" Season 2 is rumored to be out by fall of 2016.
