Fans will still have to wait a long time before "Frozen 2," as it is still due in 2018 but it does not stop for some to speculate on what awaits Elsa, Anna and Olaf in the much awaited sequel.
Although the Broadway musical "Frozen" is coming earlier in 2017, most people are more excited about "Frozen 2." Movie News Guide, in its report, focused the spotlight on one of the most-loved Disney sidekicks," Olaf. The report said that Olaf is definitely returning for "Frozen 2," but this time he is getting a love story and a girlfriend.
Josh Gad, Olaf's voice actor, also even hinted that Olaf will have a "female counterpart" in "Frozen 2," a "snowgirl." And according to rumors, Olaf's girlfriend is named Eliana.
Furthermore, the report mentioned that Chris Buck already had an ending in mind, which involves a wedding for Anna and Kristoff. Elsa will have her own love interest and in "Frozen 2," the character is set to unleash her funny and lighter side. The famous Rapunzel is also said to be making an appearance in the sequel.
There were previous reports that said Elsa may die in "Frozen 2," after she would sacrifice her life to save her sister Anna. Christian Post, however, said that these rumors were false. Elsa, accordingly, will be getting a new dress in the sequel.
Elsa and Anna's relationship will also continue to be a significant part of the sequel. Director Chris Buck said in an interview, "We have two very strong female characters in 'Frozen.' We will sustain that in the sequel. We will handle other issues that, I believe, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are facing."
Master Herald, on the other hand, discussed the possible repercussions for the long time it took for "Frozen" to return in the big screen. Fans may have a different attitude towards the sequel considering it had been five years before it got a sequel.
