Ever since Kristen Stewart broke up with Robert Pattinson, the actress hasn't been in a serious relationship, unlike the actor who has already moved on with FKA Twigs.
She has been romantically linked to her assistant Alicia Cargile and to her "Equals" co-star Nicholas Hoult in the past, but none developed into a steady relationship maybe because she hasn't moved on from her ex-boyfriend.
During an interview with The Daily Beast, the 25-year-old actress opened up about her breakup from the 29-year-old British heartthrob and how her movie with the 26-year-old actor helped her deal with the heartache.
"It was incredibly painful," Stewart confessed. "Ugh, fucking kill me. It was a really good time for both of us to make this movie. Not all of my friends have been through what I've been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively-speaking young age, and we were not expected to do anything. Everything that we did was explorative, and a meditation on what we already knew."
Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult tried to avoid answering the dating rumors, but the two were recently seen returning to a hotel in New York City.
A source confirmed to Radar Online that the former co-stars have a 'friends-with-benefits' relationship.
"The two of them have hooked up in the past since they shot the movie together and prior to that as well," an insider revealed. "But Kristen is not ready to get into a relationship with anyone right now."
"Not only are the both of them way too busy to be heavily involved, but Kristen does not know what she wants."
Ever since Kristen Stewart broke up with Robert Pattinson, she has allegedly started exploring new relationships with both women and men.
"Kristen is keeping her options open when it comes to dating," the insider said. "But Nicholas and Kristen do have a really strong connection and being around him makes her happy."
Maybe her relationship with Jennifer Lawrence's ex-boyfriend would develop into more than just a hook up once she has moved on from her former lover.
