Adele is already talking about the next new album after "25." Has the "Hello" singer hinted that the next one's the last?
Brit singer Adele has broken sales records with her new "25" album and already, the singer has already been asked about what's next. In a viral and wildly entertaining interview with the host of "The Late Late Show," James Corden, Adele revealed some exciting details about the new album coming after "25."
A report by TVGuide, "While James Corden was home in London for the holidays, he picked up singer Adele and they drove around the city and belted like no one was watching." During karaoke breaks, Corden asked Adele a few insightful questions about "25" and even the new album coming soon after.
The official Youtube channel for "The Late Late Show" revealed the entire carpool karaoke segment of James Corden with Adele. In the video, Corden asked Adele about the title of her new album and how she shares her music with fans.
"But I think it's also it's part of, you know, I want my fans to come on in like a journey with me," shared Adele. "And I thought that, you know, one of the reasons why I name my albums after my age as well is they're sort of polaroids almost of my life of that time," she added.
James Corden asked if Adele will continue to name her new album after her age and the "Hello" singer simply replied, "This is the last album after my age. I believe in trilogies. The next one's just gonna be 'Adele'."
So while fans got quite a bit worried about the possibility of Adele releasing the new album as her last, it's not the case. What Adele simply meant was that "25" will be the last album named after her age. The next new album is coming alright, but it's not going to be "26" or whichever age Adele sees fit. It's going to be something different and delightful, something simply Adele.
